Luxe Auctions Privacy Policy

The trustee for Mczak Investments Trust trading as Luxe Auctions ACN 696 096 216 (Luxe Auctions) is committed to providing our customers with a high level of privacy in relation to the personal information that is collected. Luxe Auctions provides the following privacy statement.

Personal Information Collection and Storage

Personal Information collected and stored includes the customer's name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address, and credit card details. Luxe Auctions does not use or disclose the customer's personal information collected for any other purpose other than performing all aspects of auction sales and all ancillary correspondence in relation to auctions without first gaining the customer's consent, or where it is required by law or is required to satisfy our auction Terms and Conditions.

Internet Data Collection

When Luxe Auctions' website is accessed, its internet service provider makes a record of the following internet data for statistical purposes:

  • The customer's server address
  • The customer's top-level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .nz etc.)
  • The date and time of the customer's visit to the site
  • The pages the customer accessed and documents downloaded
  • The previous site the customer has visited
  • The type of browser the customer is using

Cookies may be placed in the customer's browser file on the customer's hard drive.

Credit Card Information

Credit card details are collected and stored at the payment gateway. Luxe Auctions does not use or disclose the internet data collected for any other purpose other than performing all aspects of auction sales, marketing, and satisfying our auction Terms and Conditions without first gaining the customer's consent, or where it is required by law. The customer should note that any links on Luxe Auctions' site will have a privacy policy different from Luxe Auctions.

Email Address

The customer's e-mail address is recorded on registration or if the customer sends an e-mail message to Luxe Auctions. Under no circumstances will the customer's e-mail address be added to a 3rd party mailing list or used for any other purpose without the customer's consent being obtained or where it is required by law.

Data Security

Luxe Auctions is committed to keeping secure the data a customer provides and Luxe Auctions will take all reasonable precautions to protect the customer's personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, or alteration. Luxe Auctions uses SSL encryption which encrypts all data transferred between Luxe Auctions and the customer's computer.

Access to Personal Information

At the customer's request, Luxe Auctions can provide the customer with access to the personal information Luxe Auctions holds about the customer. Access is limited to Luxe Auctions' record of the customer's address, contact details, accounts with Luxe Auctions, and balances and statements relating to those accounts.

If the customer wishes to make a complaint about any breach or potential breach of this privacy policy or the Australian Government Privacy Principles, the customer can contact Luxe Auctions by:
